Born in 1972 and based in Hampshire, UK, he balances his professional life with co-hosting the family-friendly ‘Linux Matters‘ podcast, hobby coding, and troubleshooting tech problems for internet strangers. A proud parent of two humans and caretaker to three cats, Alan approaches both software and toast with the same philosophy: Thoughtful design creates meaningful experiences.
